At this point, the rules are pretty simple and straightforward. Please follow them, so that we can keep them that way.

Joining:
-You must have read ALL of the information on the Information Page before you do anything else.
-Once you have done that, please post a character profile in the message-board, to be approved/disputed by the moderators. Profiles should contain the following information about your character, as well as anything else you may wish to add:
--Name
--Age (Keep in mind the differences in aging between humans and elves)
--Gender
--Race (Desert, Sea, Snow, or Forest. If you wish to play a human, you may - just be aware, you're then considered an enemy by the elves. If you wish to play a Winged Elf, please email the moderators (sky_pair@yahoo.com, nymph12@pacbell.net) for permission first.)
--Role (What place does your character hold in society?)
--Gift (If a magic-user, what gift does your character possess?)
--Physical Appearance (Please be specific, this is what lets the rest of us picture your character, so details are appreciated.)
--Personality (Temperament, likes, dislikes, tendencies - again, be detailed.)
--Skills (What is your character good at? What is s/he bad at?)
--History (Give us a brief overview of the family situation and childhood of your character; the important events which have shaped him/her. If you want secrets, that's fine, but do try to give us something.)

Participating:

-Play nice. No autoing of others' characters without permission, no god-moding, no flaming - you get the idea.
-PLEASE, write coherently! Think of it as you might read it in a book, and write it that way - "Speech", :Telepathic sendings:, and ~Thoughts~, to be marked that way so as to avoid confusion. I know everyone can't spell correctly all the time, or have perfect grammar, but please, try your best, and cut down on the typos - it makes it easier on everyone else.
-There is no limit to the number of characters you may create - but please keep in mind your own limitations, and don't bite off more than you can chew. It's hard on everyone if you have to drop people. And, if you start showing signs of having so many you can't keep them all straight, or can't keep up, you will be limited - please be responsible.
-All posts will be assumed to be IC (In Character). If you have something to say that is not part of the storyline, please mark it with "OOC" (Out Of Character)!
-Concerning Winged Elves, Wisdoms, and other characters in limited/special positions: if you want to play one of these, that's fine. However, you are required to have at least one other character already in play, for a length of time suitable to let us moderator-peeps see how you RP. It may seem a bit unfair, but special positions will only go to those who RP exceptionally well - the reason for this is, there are only a few, and they affect everyone, so we want the people playing them to do a good job.
-Concerning Magic: while we are, at the moment, pretty much letting you decide your character's gift, if any, and the strength, please be responsible - not everyone can have a strong ability. Also, if, for some reason, you wish your character to experience a late-blossoming gift, you must first email us for permission.
